Dear all, We at St Martin’s Church are having a fundraising campaign to get our church ‘Back on Track’. As for many other people and businesses, the pandemic has hit us hard, and so we are looking at various fundraising activities to enable us to keep a spiritual presence in this local area. As part of the fundraising we are having an online auction on Sunday December 6th at 3pm with various items to be auctioned including holiday accommodation, tea for two at the Savoy Hotel, food hampers, dinners out, signed WASPS souvenirs as well as promises to do the gardening etc. To get a catalogue ring Camilla Reid on 020 8992 3389 or email email@example.com. ECS annual John Delafons lecture
For the first time, our annual John Delafons lecture this year was held as a virtual event. The subject was the Thames Tideway Project given by Harbinder Birdi, Senior Partner and Head of the Infrastructure and Transport Sector at Hawkins Brown architects. The future of heritage buildings in Gunnersbury Park
The recent restoration of a number of buildings in Gunnersbury Park, such as the Large Mansion and its transformation into a modern museum, excluded several other important heritage buildings in the park, in particular the Small Mansion and Stables Block, both of which are on the Historic England buildings at risk register.
